On this big occasion, it’s time to say hello to the golden potato. Yes, I am talking about the ‘Roast Potato’. For celebrating Christmas dinner, roast potato is a must. There are a few ways to make this recipe. The chef always has a choice to make every dish different. At home, you also can try your desired special menu for making the event special. Welcome to the ‘The Diniverse’ kitchen to make an easier roast potato to fulfil your occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Potatoes (medium size) 
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Black Pepper 
  • Fresh Parsley (optional) 
  • Rosemary (optional)

How to Make:

Peel off the potatoes. Make the potatoes sliced (cut small one half and big one quarter from half) and clean them. Mix potato with garlic powder, rosemary, salt and olive oil. You need to toss it until it is mixed finely. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the mixed potato pieces on the prepared baking sheet and place the sheet in the oven. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes and stir halfway. Roast the potatoes until it turns golden in colour. After it is done add some optional fresh parsley and black pepper. 

This perfect roasted potato is a very good side dish along with the delicious holiday dish on your dinner table. Some additional herbs can make this dish different. The smoky flavour and outside crispy taste will give you the perfect feel. Red or yellow potato is used basically to prepare this seasonal item but you can change your taste at any time.
