Food is life. Without food, we even can’t think of an event as well. Whenever there is any gathering food is the main attraction. But I personally like desserts a lot. After eating any meal I simply go to the dessert section and then take a bowl and spoon to have the most delicious one. Dessert gives sweetness to everyone’s mouth after a meal. Dessert means ‘to clear the table’ and came from the word desservir which is a French word.
I have tasted a lot of desserts so far such as custard, pudding, pastries, snowballs, brownies, various sorts of sweets, jilapi, cupcakes, crumble-ball, cake sicles and piñata and so on. But nowadays one of the Arabic traditional desserts from the Middle East is much hyped called KUNAFA. I have seen many people making it in Bangladesh and available in many restaurants. So, for a long time, I had a desire for this dessert but I had no idea where will I get the authentic Kunafa. One of my friends told me about Turkish Bazaar and Restaurants where I can get the best and most authentic Kunafa.
Hence, without any further delay, I went there after my lunch to taste Kunafa as my dessert. I went there and ordered my Kunafa. Before serving the dish I had a mesmerizing fragrance to it, that time I even didn’t see the food presentation and looks of Kuanfa. After 15 minutes they brought a whole Kunafa as I ordered. Kunafa looked so appealing and mouthwatering that I couldn’t delay more. The food presentation and decoration were so good that I was much pleased. A larger amount of pistachio was sprinkled all over the Kunafa and the green texture of the pistachio looked great. After that, I took a large piece of Kunafa and was astonished to see the melting cheese-like pizza in between two layers of vermicelli.
Moreover, all the ingredients were so well balanced, like the sweetness, the number of nuts and the cheese and it was well baked I simply loved the dessert. I ate almost half of a 9 inch Kunafa as it was much delightful and tasty.
