English Breakfast is known to be one of the most popular & tastiest breakfast items. It is taken not only in Britain but also in many other parts of the globe. It’s loved by many because of its rare combination of both rich & light food items on the plate which offers diversity to its large range of customers. Full English Breakfast which is also called ‘Fry Up’ consists of bread, fried eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, black or white pudding, beans served with hot tea or coffee. It has won the heart of many food lovers & continuing to do so for the last couple of centuries.

The origin of this spectacular breakfast item dates back to the 13th Century and it was started by the Gentry. In the early days, breakfast was considered the meal which supplies energy for the working-class people to put hard labour all day long into their work field. Though British Breakfast was started by the high-class people of the English society as the symbol of their status and an opportunity to socialize, but with time it gained popularity among the working-class people because of its nutrient value. It’s one of the rarest food items currently present in our modern world which has sustained the test of time and never lost its original charm. British people are very traditional and rooted when it comes to starting their day with their first meal and they fully love to indulge in the much-loved platter of English breakfast.

English breakfast is tasty and healthy at the same time. Generally, the tea which is being served with English breakfast is sugar-free that’s why it is extremely beneficial for the group of people who are conscious of their daily sugar intake. This tea also contains antioxidants which have numerous health benefits.

Meat is an essential component of traditional English breakfast. Chefs always make sure the quality of the meat is excellent and the slicing is done perfectly to maintain the old traditional taste. Vegan people can add beans to avoid eating any meat item as part of their English breakfast. Some also prefer grilling instead of frying to make it even healthier. So that’s why no matter how much experiment chefs try to do with this specific food item, they prefer to go back to the basic recipe which has been passed on from generation to generation.
